We are a family dairy farm near Basingstoke with a herd of pedigree Jersey cows producing high quality milk. The Alsden Jersey herd has been established since 1983
and is now moving into its third generation of family management. We milk 200+ cows daily through a modern milking parlour which produces a particularly rich and creamy milk due to its high butterfat content, a quality for which the Jersey cow is renowned.
Two years ago we started to diversify by making artisan Italian style ice cream in a wide range of flavours. The ice cream is hand made using milk and cream from our herd, together with the finest ingredients.
We are currently supplying local shops, farm shops, pubs and restaurants. We have a range of different sized containers, from 110ml mini pots through to catering packs.
We are of course registered with the local Authority and meet the required hygiene standards and training of our production staff.
